Are you in the mood for a little beadweaving? If so, you might like our latest beadweaving pattern, which you can download and use absolutely free!
Our “Flowers” bracelet pattern uses flat even count peyote stitch (check out our tutorial here on how to do this technique). This is a pattern that will keep you suitably challenged as you’ll get to change up your flower colors as you work through it, but it’s also a good project for beginners as well as intermediate level beaders.
For this project, you’ll need the following materials:
Scissors for cutting thread.
Peyote Stitch Bracelet Pattern – Flowers
For this bracelet, we’ve recommended a mixture of different colors and finishes for a nice contrast. However, you can use whatever colors and finishes you like. Just ensure that all the beads you’re using are the same size and shape. Our Toho Treasure seed beads are cylinder-shaped so they fit together perfectly when working in peyote stitch.
When complete, this bracelet should be just under 1.5 inches wide and just under 6 inches in length. If you have a smaller or larger wrist size, you can adjust the beginning and end of the bracelet accordingly by adding on or decreasing a few rows. (Make sure to do the same at both ends for a nice even pattern.)
To finish your bracelet, you could make a beaded clasp, stick on magnetic or Velcro strips or add flat ribbon end findings to each end. If you’re adding magnetic strips, you’ll need to make sure your bracelet ends can overlap each other so that your fixings will be hidden.
