Last week, we announced the launch of our jewelry-making kits which was pretty exciting! Our kits are great for beginners and as gifts for anyone interested in making jewelry.
As a follow on from our jewelry-making kits, we thought we’d put together some options for beading starter kits – these are loose beads and findings that will help get beginner beaders off to a great start!
Below you’ll find suggested combinations of our products to suit various budgets for inspiration. Please note that you will need to purchase your own jewelry-making and beading tools (e.g. pliers and beading needles) in addition to these collections below!
$15 Beading Starter Kit
Our Czech glass beads are great value, so they are perfect to add to a beading starter kit. For just over $15, you can get some very pretty and versatile beads in shades of pink, lilac, blue and gold, plus some gold-tone findings to make beautiful earrings.
Gold-tone findings work really well with these color beads, although there are several finishes to choose from for the same price! We also recommend using Stretch Magic – it’s great for bead stringing to make bracelets or necklaces and no clasp is needed.

$25 Starter Kit
If your budget can increase to around $25, you can add some beautiful gemstones into the mix. Our Agate beads and Shell Pearls look simply stunning in bracelets and necklaces. They can be strung onto leather or cotton cord (or beading wire).
If you fancy trying your hand at a little beadweaving, Nymo beading thread and Miyuki beads are handy to have in your collection.

$50 Starter Kit
For just shy of $50, you can create a great beading kit with some beautiful supplies that will help you to make a range of projects.
Toho seed beads are incredibly useful and can be used for beadweaving as well as to decorate other forms of handmade jewelry. Ceramic and Czech glass seed beads can add the wow factor to your designs – as can pretty lobster clasps and heart charms!
We’ve also included some Snakeskin Jasper beads in this selection. Jasper is a semi-precious gemstone with an ancient and fascinating history. Any gemstone lover will be sure to love these!
