These textured ribbon ends are great if you are working with silk ribbon or flat leather, and will help you get rid of frayed edges and insecure knots. There are small teeth at the end of the v-shaped piece, simply use your pliers to push the two ends together and the teeth will grip the ribbon and keep it secure. The hole at the other end allows you to attach a clasp, more beads, or even an earring finding!
